Shipping Policy

We ship handmade, perishable baked goods from our bakery in Latham, NY. Please read this carefully before ordering.
1. Where we ship
We currently ship within the continental United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, military APO/FPO addresses, or internationally.
2. Shipping carriers and cost
Orders ship via USPS or UPS, depending on destination and carrier rates.
- Small Bake Club Box: customer pays carrier-calculated shipping (typically $6 to $18 depending on destination)
- Medium Bake Club Box: customer pays carrier-calculated shipping (typically $6 to $18 depending on destination)
- Large Bake Club Box: customer pays carrier-calculated shipping (typically $6 to $18 depending on destination)
- One-time custom orders: shipping calculated at checkout
Exact shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your address and package weight.
3. Shipping time
- Most orders arrive within 3 to 5 business days from the ship date
- Bake Club Box first-time subscribers may see ship times of up to 2 to 3 weeks during our launch period as we ramp up production
4. Order processing
- Bake Club Box orders are packed and shipped on a fixed schedule
- One-time orders typically ship within 3 to 5 business days of order placement
- You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships
5. Perishable packaging notice
Our boxes ship uninsulated. We do not include ice packs, dry ice, or insulated liners. By ordering, you agree to:
- Refrigerate your box immediately upon arrival
- Understand that treats stay fresh 2 to 3 days refrigerated, or longer if frozen
- Accept that hot weather, carrier delays, or extended porch sitting can affect product quality
We may delay shipping during extreme heat to certain regions when we believe products will not arrive in good condition. We will email you if your order is delayed for weather reasons.
6. Address accuracy
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. If we ship to the address you provided and it is wrong, we are not responsible for the lost package.
- If you need to correct an address after ordering, email sweetelevationbakery@gmail.com immediately. We can update the address only if the order has not yet been packed and labeled
- Address re-routing or re-shipping fees from the carrier are passed on to you
7. Lost or stolen packages
Once a package is marked as delivered by USPS or UPS, we are no longer responsible for theft from the delivery location.
If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot find the package:
- Check with neighbors and around your delivery location
- Wait 24 hours (carriers sometimes mark packages delivered early)
- Contact the carrier directly to file a claim
- Email us at sweetelevationbakery@gmail.com and we will assist with carrier claims where possible
8. Damaged in transit
See our Returns and Refunds Policy for the damaged shipment process. Briefly: email us within 24 hours of delivery with photos.
9. International shipping
We do not ship internationally at this time.
